More Soap....

Not another soap post your saying...

I wanted to explain something to you that only really hit me last week.
As you know I have been doing markets now and there is often other
stalls there selling soaps as well.

I have started looking a bit closer at these stalls and reading there signs.
Signs that say hand poured soaps....

That's when I realised that most soap sellers are not soap makers...
You see there is a melt and pour method and most off  the soaps I've seen
are using this method. You buy the soap block melt it down and then pour it into your mould..

Hand poured NOT hand made...
All my soaps are made from scratch, I measure all my oils out and blend them all together.

Yep I did just realise this...hahaha bit slow I know.

I love the method of making soap it's the best part I think. I love the new rose one I have just done that smells like Almond Milk..

No more soap posts for a while I promise....

Have a great week

Hello all and thanks for stopping by.

Last week-end saw me at the Ma Ma Creek Markets.
These little country markets grow a bit more each month.

Making soap is becoming a weekly thing as it is selling really well.
I have made some pink soap for Mothers Day..

My List of soaps are.

Men's shaving soap
White Tea & Ginger
Jellybean
Goats Milk
Chocolate
Plain

Craft was on this week as well.
I learnt some new crocheting stitches this week ...Thanks Daphne.

Table all set and waiting for the Ladies

The Garden around The Old Dairy is looking lovely at the moment
with all the saliva's and geraniums  in flower.
This is my favorite spot in the morning to have a cuppa
and do some craft.

Tomorrow I am going to have a look at the
Ipswich Handmade markets.
Looking forward to a day out, next month I will be starting there
as a stall holder but tomorrow I'm just looking.

Have a great week end...

CLosed and going Camping.....

I'm back
I have been a little slack in my blogging.
So much going on in the shop.

I have been doing more markets as well .....I have been going to markets to
looking to see if I will do them.
I have settled on a few I will do, as well as some School Fete's.

I have made some beautiful vintage English china cake plates
in different sizes as well...

I am closed over this Easter week end.
Time to sit and plan what to do next in the shop.
Time for a move around I think.

Also there will be workshops coming up later in the year as well as a
night time craft get together.

This is what I will be doing this week end in the quietness of the bush..

Till next week
Happy Easter
Mandy
